Southview Barn

This converted stone barn dates back generations but has been thoroughly updated inside. Everything is on the ground floor: two double bedrooms, a shower room with walk-in enclosure, and an open-plan living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. A wood burner anchors the living room, and glass doors open onto a patio where you can sit out with garden furniture. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and all the basics for self-catering; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The property sleeps six across the two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area. One dog can stay free of charge. There is parking for three cars on site, and a pub lies within a mile. The nearest town is Durham, with Barnard Castle also accessible for exploring the wider area. The barn does not allow smoking inside.
