Bell Cottage

Bell Cottage sits on the fringe of Sidmouth, where rolling farmland and the Jurassic Coast are both within easy reach. The village location means you're close enough to the town's shops, beaches and seafront for a quick visit, yet far enough out to wake to open countryside views. The cottage itself is arranged over two floors: downstairs holds a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, while upstairs contains a second bedroom with two single beds, its own shower room, and an open-plan living and dining space with a Juliette balcony overlooking the fields.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The living area has a television, DVD and CD players, and an electric fire for cooler evenings. Two cars can park on site, and wifi is included throughout. Both bedrooms have heated towel rails, and the essentials—bed linen, towels, heating and power—are covered. There is a shared garden with a bench for taking in the views. The property does not permit smoking.

Sidmouth itself has a strong character: Victorian and Georgian architecture lines the seafront, independent traders fill the high street rather than chains, and the town maintains a genuine seaside atmosphere year-round. From here, the South West Coast Path and surrounding countryside offer immediate access to walking, and the wider Jurassic Coast stretches along the shoreline in both directions.
