The Coastal Hideaway

The Jurassic coastline around East Devon offers serious walking country: the South West Coastal Path runs nearby, pebbled beaches are minutes away, and the red cliffs and rolling hills that define this stretch of coast are worth the trip alone. Sidmouth itself, a Regency town with shops and cafés, is a short drive away. Golf courses dot the area too if that appeals.

The Coastal Hideaway is a four-bedroom house sleeping seven, arranged over three floors. Downstairs holds the living room, kitchen, and a separate toilet. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so cooking a proper meal is straightforward. French doors lead to an enclosed garden with patio and seating. The first floor contains three bedrooms—a double, a twin and a single—plus a shared bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs is the fourth double bedroom with its own ensuite shower room and a smart TV. Essentials including electricity, linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and parking for two cars. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking is permitted. The property suits families and couples; it is not available for hen or stag parties or workmen's bookings.
