Old Town Cottage

Old Town Cottage is a four-storey mid-terrace property that puts you in the heart of Sidmouth, close enough to reach the seafront and high street on foot within moments. The ground floor comprises a living room with a Smart TV and DVD player, plus a separate dining area adjoining a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and the rest. Upstairs, two bathrooms serve the bedrooms: one with a bath and shower, one with just a shower cubicle.

Four bedrooms sleep seven guests across the property's upper floors. The largest is a kingsize on the top level (note there is limited headroom here), with a double and two singles on the first floor and another single on the second. Essentials are covered—gas heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. You have parking for two cars on site, which matters in a town where most properties don't offer it. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.

Sidmouth itself attracts families and older visitors alike. The seafront esplanade borders a sheltered beach; westward, the sandstone cliffs frame Jacobs Ladder and Connaught Gardens. The town centre is full of independent shops, restaurants and cafés, and the surrounding countryside—much of it designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—rewards exploration on foot or by car.
