Fieldhouse Farm Cottages - The Roost

Skirtlaugh sits at the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, with the East Riding coast within reach and York, Beverley and Hull all accessible for day trips. The Roost is one of three converted barns at Fieldhouse Farm, positioned where open countryside begins. Everything is on the ground floor, making it straightforward for all ages and abilities to move around the property.

The main living space is open-plan, with exposed beams, a sage green kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and a sitting area with smart TV. Two bedrooms—a kingsize and a twin—both have Velux windows and character beams. The shower room includes a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Essentials including electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are covered. The property accommodates four guests and one small dog, which must be kept on a lead and not left alone indoors; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a BBQ opens onto countryside views. The private hot tub, sized for three, is where most evenings end. There is parking for two cars and a bike store. No smoking is permitted indoors.
