Visited Escape the Past Edinburgh while in town for a friend’s birthday. We completed the Deacon’s Cabinet room and had Oliver as our host. Our team of 4 really enjoyed the challenge the room offered. The experience was immersive and clever. Oliver was a wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone, visiting or local, who is looking for a fun, historical, challenging escape room.

We had an EXCELLENT time here today. Both games are brilliant, but Deacons Cabinet really shines as one of the best games in Scotland. I can't recommend enough. All puzzles worked like a dream. Some were tricky but all manageable. Loads of WOW moments. Just brilliant. Huge thank you to Edmund who was one of the best GM's we've ever had. We love you!

We booked The Anatomist for my nephew's birthday present and he absolutely loved it, as did us two 'olds' that came and did it with him. The Edinburgh lore behind it is genuinely fascinating, and doing something steeped in Edinburgh's murkier history made it really resonate. Our guide, Rosie, was lovely and the perfect amount of helpful. Will definitely be back to try one of the other escapes or future escapes as they open. In the words of my nephew... 11/10! Would recommend! So much fun!

A really fun experience to do in a group! Not too hard to solve yet quite lovely putting things together with time literally flying by! Our host was really sweet guiding and instructing us as well. We were time bound since we arrived a few mins late, I only suggest one goes that 10-15 mins in advance so as to not lose time on instructions and pre-checks (basic stuff).
