About The Four Sisters Boatel
Fancy a cosy canalside stay for your escapade to Edinburgh? Cast your eyes on The Four Sisters Boatel, a wide-beam canal barge permanently moored in the capital's city centre, where you can settle right there on the water in the Lochrin Basin.
This floating four-star space sleeps up to six adults and two children (under 10), with a couple of double cabins, kids' bunks and a sofa bed in the lounge. Guests rave about the well-equipped galley kitchen, excellent shower pressure and comfortable bedding – there's even the option to order a breakfast basket. Two canopied decking areas bookend the barge, perfect for watching sunsets in a serene pocket of the city.

What an awesome experience!! We landed and made it to the Camilla boat around 10:30pm. Everything was perfect - so inviting and we appreciated the free breakfast through booking.com. Definitely sort out parking before you get there that wasn’t as easy as we thought.

What a fun way to spend the last few days of our trip! We made sure to book a ride down the canal which included a captain for the ship and two fluffy barking skippers to help lead the way! This was a memorial trip to honor a good friend and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

5 stars all round Our family trip was a huge success. The facilities aboard the boat were brilliant, the kitchen, the shower, all lovely and in perfect working order. Even though it trip was in October we were really cosy. It was absolutely spick and span also. Our host was wonderful. Helpful, and warm, Natalie made sure we had all the boat specific info we needed to make sure our stay was all "smooth sailing" (sorry, couldn't resist) - but it was easy to manage. We took advantage of a couple of add ons for breakfast and a trip on our boat down the canal. Both were lovely and I would recommend.
