What visitors say
We did a chocolate tour here, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Edinburgh. We loved hearing, seeing, and learning about chocolate making all while sampling chocolate, of course! Christy, our guide was energetic, fun, knowledgeable, and a good communicator. We got to make our own custom chocolate bars, which was a blast. We also really loved the single origin chocolate tasting at the end. We then finished it off by purchasing more chocolate than my poor suitcase can hold. Lol. Highly recommend.

Loved the Chocolatarium! 🍫 I visited with my son for my birthday and it was such a special and fun experience. The tour was interactive and easy to follow, the guide was friendly and engaging, taking you through the history of chocolate from bean to bar in an engaging way. And the chocolate samples were delicious and generous. Make sure you try that spicy one! I also really appreciated that they accommodate halal options, which made the experience even better for us. It’s a great family-friendly activity and a lovely way to celebrate while visiting Edinburgh. Highly recommend for both kids and adults!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We really enjoyed our visit to The Chocolatarium. We started with a lovely hot chocolate and then learned how chocolate is made, from the cocoa farm to the finished chocolate. The best part was making our own chocolate bar and choosing from lots of different toppings. It was great fun! After that, we went to the tasting room where we tried chocolates from different countries and learned about chocolate history. The tour lasts about an hour and a half and is very enjoyable. We can also look around the shop before and after the tour to see if there are any tasty chocolates we’d like to buy. A fun and tasty experience that we would definitely recommend. 🍫😊

Fun Educational Tasty Great store to shop chocolates of every style We had a fun 1.5 hours visit here - definitely worth the cost. It was fun and we learned a lot. We made our own chocolate and we could taste 5-7 different chocolates. The choices were more than 30. Real nice to visit here.
