Inchkeith View

Families and small groups will find Inchkeith View works well as a base for Edinburgh. The flat sits on the second floor of a building on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, about two miles from Princes Street and two and a half miles from the castle. The main draw is the outlook across the water towards Inchkeith Island and Fife, visible from both the living room and dining area.

The two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with two singles—sleep four. A walk-in shower, separate toilet and heated towel rail make up the bathroom. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer mean you can cook properly or wash clothes if you're staying longer. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all provided. There's on-road parking outside.

Edinburgh's architecture, shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance, though the immediate area is residential and quiet. No smoking inside the property.
