What guests say
We had a pleasant stay at the B&B. Service was great, Jennet and Graham were very nice and friendly. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and generous! The only improvement I would suggest is to have a chest of drawers or a desk in the room as there was no place to keep my make ups and toiletries in the bathroom nor bedroom. Otherwise the room is spacious and clean. Location is great too. A walking distance to the old town, the castle.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all. We paid over £200 per night (for a double room), and for the same amount, you could stay in a 4-star hotel in the actual city center (near the Royal Mile). Our room was on the 2nd floor (no elevator), no breakfast is provided, and the Wi-Fi was only working occasionally. All major attractions were either 20 minutes away by bus or a 25-minute walk. The carpet in the room is probably older than Edinburgh Castle itself. This accommodation is worth £80 per night at most (maybe £100 if King Charles personally brings you breakfast in bed). Don’t let yourselves be ripped off. After one night, we switched to a place near the Royal Mile for half the price, including breakfast. Do avoid!

Nice location in a quiet neighborhood walkable to sights and amenities. Decent room but could be made better. Nowhere to sit but on the bed, walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, the Wifi never worked in 4 days, and the motion sensing lights in the bathroom are somewhat annoying. Acceptable in general.

Very nice though a small room with a small bathroom. Kept in touch with us with valuable information. We did have an issue with the outer door electronic lock but that was quickly resolved by the management company.
