The room was spotless and very spacious. The house wasn't like an ordinary hotel; it was a place with a real soul. Lydie was very friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived early, she helped us and told us about Edinburgh. The hotel's location was quiet but still easy to reach the center. If I were to go again, I would choose it without hesitation. Thank you for everything.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and I cannot recommend it enough. Lydie is beyond lovely and so extremely helpful, location has some wonderful cafes and things about and only about 20 mins easy stroll into the city centre. Rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved staying here.

We had a charmed stay with the charming hostess. The Townhouse itself is just adorable and the rooms are great. You can walk here easily to all main attractions or just use the bus if you are so inclined. I will definitely come back if I am ever in the area again.

I stayed in this lovely home for two nights, and it was everything I needed. I was traveling by car, so I needed a place to park, and Albyn offers parking at a more than fair price. The house is about a 20-minute walk from the Old Town—an enjoyable walk that eventually runs alongside the Meadows, which I highly recommend getting lost in on your way to the center. The property is charming, clean, and tastefully decorated; the room was comfortable and spacious. Lydie, the host, is a wonderful person to chat with—kind, helpful, and she makes the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back. Ciao!
