About NYX Hotel Edinburgh
Edinburgh's Old Town is built for wandering, with the Royal Mile cutting through the middle of the city's history, and NYX Hotel Edinburgh sits just off it on Jeffrey Street. It's a convenient perch for exploring, with Waverley Station within easy reach for onward travel or day trips.
The hotel has 125 rooms done out in a bold, boutique style, each with air conditioning, a mini bar, drinks and room service on offer, and free WiFi throughout. Accessible rooms are available for guests who need them. Downstairs, the CLASH Bar & Restaurant covers breakfast and evening meals alike, and there's a small gym on-site for anyone keen to keep up a routine while away. There's no parking at the property, so it suits guests arriving by train or on foot rather than by car.
Beyond the front door, the surrounding streets have plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment to fill an evening, and golf courses are within reach for those wanting to get out of the city. It's a well-placed spot for a stay built around exploring Edinburgh on foot.

I initaly booked this hotel in a rush without checking the reviews beforehand. While on the way, I noticed a low overall rating and some negative feedback, though I quickly realized those were mostly from people who had booked before the hotel officially opened. To my dismay, upon arrival, I discovered I had mistakenly booked my stay for the following week with a non-cancellable policy. Thankfully, John the manager went above and beyond to help. He gave me a direct number for Hotels.com, and the issue was quickly sorted out with a date change. As for the hotel itself, it was fantastic! It features really nice, modern decor, a great bar, and the room was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was also greaHighly recommend! Br

This hotel may very well be great when it opens, but it’s not open. They let me make a reservation months ago and luckily I looked on their instagram as we got closer to the date and I realized they weren’t even open yet. Based on other reviews it seems their plan was to stick us in another (cheaper) Leonardo hotel last minute for the same price. The fact that they are so desperate for business that they’re advertising and accepting reservations at a hotel that is still being built is insane.
