About Cutty Sark Inn
Cutty Sark Inn occupies a Georgian-era building on Grove Place in Falmouth, its period character giving the hotel a warm, settled feel rather than a generic modern finish. The setting makes the most of its position near the water, with several rooms looking out over the estuary.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Breakfast is served each morning, and the on-site restaurant and bar cover other meals, with packed lunches available for days out and drinks brought to the room on request. There's a garden and outdoor seating for warmer days, free WiFi throughout, 24-hour reception, and luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures. Pets are welcome, too.
Falmouth itself is close at hand, with fishing, watersports, and a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel. It suits guests wanting a characterful base with the harbour and coast on the doorstep, rather than a purely modern hotel stay.

We had the warmest of welcomes thinkable. A lovely small hospitable venue. The caring and attention to detail delivered by Jon made for an exceptional stay. The room is spacious well presented with a variety of herbal teas. Great breakfast. Highly recommended

My partner and I stayed here over the festive period. The pub itself is so clean and cosy. We had a great room, very spacious and location couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was good too. Jon was very welcoming and accommodating, and always on hand to help. We would definitely stay here again. Couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice bed with good pillows. Lovely big shower and a fantastic breakfast. As I stayed in winter on a Tuesday they were not doing food in the evening. However there is a great chippy and burger joint within 200m Overall I really enjoyed it and will come again

Hannah and Mark made me most welcome and were good company to talk to. The decor is very nice as was the lovely room and super king sized bed. The young staff were very attentive. The place is ideally suited as it is just a two minutes walk and you've reached town. I'm from London and it took me a little while to get used to how quiet my room was - no planes and no cars! I had a very enjoyable short break. Thank you, Hannah and Mark and all the staff for such a pleasant stay, I'm looking forward to going back already!
