About The Grove Falmouth

Falmouth's harbour, coastal paths and cluster of pubs and restaurants are all within reach of The Grove Falmouth, making it a straightforward base for exploring the town on foot. Cycling and walking routes lead out along the coast, while golf, fishing and watersports can be arranged nearby for those wanting to get further out onto the water or countryside.

The hotel itself occupies a Georgian building on Grove Place, with 19 rooms of varying types, some looking out over the harbour. Each has an en-suite bathroom and drinks are provided in room, with free WiFi throughout. A garden gives a quiet spot to sit outside, and there's a bar on site along with breakfast served each morning.

Concierge services can help with arranging airport transfers or parking, and staff can point guests towards the pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach of the property. It's a good option for anyone wanting a period setting in the middle of Falmouth, with the coast and town both close at hand.

First of all, the hotel is in an excellent location, just off the main street while also offering direct sea views. Thanks to the host’s thoughtful arrangement, I was given a room on a higher floor, where I could enjoy an uninterrupted view of the sea. In addition, the host kindly upgraded my room free of charge, and both the room and the bed were very spacious. The service was also very warm, thoughtful, and attentive. Another advantage was the relatively early check-in time, which connected smoothly with my train journey. Overall, it was a very comfortable and perfect three-night stay. Highly recommended!

Comfortable rooms in a great location for a very reasonable price, managed by a very affable proprietor. Front-facing rooms will hear some noise from the street, but we didn’t find it to be too loud too late in the evening. Something else we noted is that the room key is kept in a small box with a number lock outside the room (with a cord which can be extended to unlock the door). We hadn’t seen this before and we found it to be fairly convenient – no chance of losing the room key. Equally, the box didn’t seem too difficult to break into, so it seemed like a slightly less secure system than others. With a lock on the front door to the hotel as well, we didn’t find this to be a concern, but some guests may be more hesitant.

I Visited the Grove in Falmouth for a 2 night stay last weekend with 2 guests. The hotel is beautiful, rooms were perfect, beds were very comfy. absolutely spotless . Right on the main stretch. Shops within walking distance. I will definitely be visiting again and I have recommended this establishment to family and friends too. Only downside... I wish I'd have stayed longer.

Nice hotel in a central location, only a couple minutes walk to the centre of Falmouth ..room was a good size, with en-suite shower / toilet facilities and a view of the harbour. Bed was large and comfy, room was clean and tea/coffee making facilities were provided also had a microwave, fridge and a TV. Would happily stay at this hotel again.
