Came here whilst on holiday and loved it. The food was amazing - we had the fish pie and the fish of the day which was yellow sole. Best seafood we’ve had in Cornwall. The host was amazing, really attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is really cute and cosy with lovely little touches like fresh flowers and nice tealights. Also for the food, we thought it was really good value for money.

Excellent fish restaurant! We found this place online and it did not disappoint! So glad we booked and done reviews live up to everything. Incredible food prepared to perfection. We had the scallops and mussels to start, then mains we chose the catch of the day and seafood bisque which were out of this world! Served by a lovely waitress, such a cute little intimate restaurant. Would highly recommend to all and will be coming back in the future without a doubt!

One word: perfect. The owner gave us a great story about the fish and where they came from. He told about the gold standard of Cornwall seafood guide. Which means your also sustainable, while enjoying wonderfull fish. If you are a fish fan, would 10/10 recommend the Bisque. It was delicious and left with a clean plate. Overall a nice ambience, with a passionate owner and delicate fish. Also really dog friendly. It was no problem and the dog was given her own bowl of water. As said before, perfect is the word for this experience.

If you have been to Cornwall before, you know the well established classics. King Prawns done with a nice side salad and maybe a chilli dip. Hard to mess up and a very safe option for any restaurant or pub to do. The same goes for Mussels. We all know how it comes and it is generally a solid option from any chef worth their weight. However, we were in for a series of enlightening experiences. Johnathan and the team took these well established classics and performed no less than magic. It wasn’t just our starters of Mussels and King Prawns that were reimagined, it was our mains of Fish Pie and Hake too. The most wonderfully refined and glorious takes on well established classics, which didn’t need reinventing, makes you wonder why no one has done it before. I have been in and around Falmouth for 24 years and seen many places come and go. These geniuses have reinvented the sail and somehow made it even better. It was a true delight to dine with you, it was worth every penny and more, and we look very much forward to our next visit.
