What diners say
Lovely atmosphere and sublime food. We had amazing Spelt Risotto and the most tender beef I've ever tasted. Also a great selection of smaller producer champagnes served very elegantly by the coupe. The wine selection was also excellent - the St Emilion Grand Cru was heaven in a glass. Who could want more for an anniversary meal together...

Came for my birthday with my best friend. The interiors were so cosy and it really sets you back in time, the seating area is a tad bit small, but it was still a pleasant seating. I highly recommend the beef tartare only if you like raw beef, share between two as it can get a bit salty but I really really loved it. Cheese platter was great as well but I wished for more bread as I think 4 is on the smaller portion’s end. I think the lamb’s sauce was quite overwhelming for me, I’m not too sure about the beef’s taste as I didn’t get to taste it but I think if you are unsure about what to order go for that as it will be most familiar. Crème brûlée was a classic, though I wished it was a bit cooler as it was served at room temperature. Server was lovely.

I love French food and French anything so my review is biased . But what a find . Someone pod for a proper interior designer with the brief “ give me quintessential country French bistro” but to my surprise the food was outstanding. I mean proper bistro french. And the service could not have been more attentive and lovely . And best of all - French countryside prices not london prices !!!

Blown away by each dish, and yet I am a French food regular I’d say! For entrées we tried oysters, smoked mackerel and mussels, all banging good. Will definitely come back again. Cozy relaxed atmosphere yet retaining the boho chic vibe, will absolutely visit again.
