Just brilliant! I was staying in the hotel opposite and wandered in for a pint whilst I decided where to eat. After watching the chefs prepare for service and write the menu up, I wasn’t going anywhere else! Had cod with chickpeas, chard and salsa verde, which was truly delicious. As was the sourdough served with it. And the Basque cheesecake finished the experience off nicely. Brilliant pub, lovely atmosphere, wonderful food. Please, never change!

Lunch with family late Feb. Glad to be early, gets busy quickly. Very nice food, especially fish dishes. Ordered their sea bream, hake, steak onglet, lamb tagine and scallops . Excellent range of beer on tap. Will be back for sure.

If I could give more stars I would! We got the recommendation for this spot from a stranger in a pub, and it was the best meal we had in London. I feel changed after eating the steak sandwich, it was that good! Be prepared to wait a bit for a table, but it is 1000% worth it. Olives and onglet were all amazing.

All I can say is LOL. Such an unfriendly place. The waitress looks at you like she wants to smash something over your head and the guy at the bar where I ordered food took the order and payment and went to do his other things. I m just sitting there like “do I need to do anything else, am I going back to my table?!” The whole pub looks grubby and the loos downstairs have a super strong chemical smell and look just as grubby. The food…don’t understand what s the fuss about it. My husband had a super chewy bloody steak in a bun half soaked in blood (good portion size though) and I had some mutton something with bulgur rice that tasted dodgy. The Sapporo bear tastes like it s been sitting on the table for days. And this business £50 + . Definitely not going there again.
