Really good experience, went with 7 year old twins. Very excited to see the pigs a little disappointed they didn't see the Turkeys but maybe next time. They loved the trees and the walks. We had a drink and cake at the cafe, delicious gluten free cheese cake. What a treat. The chips looked lovely but we were heading home for Sunday lunch. Car parking and entry free.

Found this by chance as a convenient meeting/coffee spot not far off the M6 and would also highly recommend it for families and people who want some time to themselves. There are lovely different spaces from wild areas to the pens for chickens, ducks and sheep. You can see how much work is put in by volunteers on the beautiful gardens and there are some nice memorials as well.

The afternoon tea is the best ever. My daughter and I have sampled afternoon tea at numerous places Inc castles, hotels and tea rooms and we have never been disappointed here. Great selection of food and so plentiful that we always have to bring some home. Highly recommend and we will be back soon 😊

Always enjoy it here. Stopped at the cafe for a pit stop on a cycle ride. Service and food were good. I did notice not as many animals as I remember in the past, and the courtyard was closed too. Hopefully they're just gearing up for the Spring.
