This place has a huge opportunity to become the go-to swimming spot for families with young children. If the timetable and booking system for the small pool were clearer, and families could rely on the water temperature being comfortable every time they visit, it would be consistently busy. At the moment it feels like there is a constant attempt to limit heating costs, but unfortunately that immediately makes the pool unusable for many families with young kids. Maintaining a reliably warm temperature, clearly advertising this, and providing a straightforward timetable and booking system would likely increase both utilisation and revenue significantly.

Lifeguard falling asleep was unacceptable today ! Our visit was between 10.30-11 ish . I reported it to a swim teacher and reported to reception no apology or much acknowledgement for this . We came to you today after going to halsted leisure centre for toddler session which was canceled and not updated on the website ! In all my 18years of working in leisure and through my management career I have never seen a lifeguard asleep and dozing off frequently in the chair , I suggested he rotated ! In future when managing a children's pool a standing moving lifeguard maybe more advisable rather than a chair to fall asleep on !

Awful experience. I took my 11-month-old and was shocked at how cold the pool was. The temperature was not just cold for children but for adults as well, and it wasn’t only the water — the whole building, including the changing rooms and surrounding areas, was freezing. The changing rooms and toilets were filthy, and to make matters worse, all of the lockers were broken. The receptionist was nice, but the rest of the staff were rude and unhelpful. I will not be going back and would not recommend this pool to anyone.

If your thinking to have a swim/gym and then a hot shower to freshen up. Your mistakenly at the wrong place, most of the time there is no hot water, and the swimming pool water itself is cold most of the time. The gym itself is really small and has limited machines. Have been a member for long, however now I am thinking to leave as the services they provide are no where near what they are charging!
