Had a meal here while visiting family... the food was outstanding, absolutely cannot wait to go back the next time I'm visiting. The servers couldn't have been friendlier or more attentive, real first class service and the restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. The meze sharer for 2 had an insane (in a good way) amount of food. The mediterranean chicken shish was so tasty, as was the chicken guvec.

This is my 2nd visit this year so I feel it’s only right to leave a review! Entrance – Very easy to find as it’s located directly on Stroud Green Road. Great location and easy to access. Food – Absolutely delicious! You can genuinely tell the food is made fresh. For my main, I ordered the Petek Special and it did not disappoint at all. The lamb and chicken shish were fresh, piping hot, and the Adana was perfectly seasoned and succulent. You can choose between chickpea rice or chips as a side. I opted for the chips. My only criticism would be that I wish they also offered plain basmati rice, as I’m allergic to chickpeas and personally prefer rice with my meals. Unfortunately, there were no alternative rice options available. The chilli sauce was AMAZING. Before the meal, they also brought out complimentary bread and olives, which was a lovely touch to start the experience. To top it all off, they kindly gave me complimentary baklava with ice cream for dessert. It was actually my first time trying baklava and it was SO good! Drinks – We ordered a Coke and a lemonade. The glasses were huge and definitely good value for money. Decor – Beautiful traditional Mediterranean decor with a modern luxury feel. The restaurant felt very warm, stylish, and inviting. Atmosphere – Such a warm and welcoming environment. It had a real family feel to it, like you belonged there. The atmosphere was relaxed and chilled — not loud or overwhelming at all. Cleanliness – Everything was spotless, including the toilets. Total Cost – Around £80 for two people, which I think is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. Customer Service – Spectacular. Every single member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. The hospitality here really stood out. Overall – 10/10 I would definitely return. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the staff — it was a genuinely great experience from start to finish.

My friend and I loved this place. It’s a upmarket Turkish restaurant popular with locals. Lovely buzzy atmosphere but easy to talk. So I love all the fresh dips and my favourite is kiddo a cholesterol busting spicy dip made with bulgar wheat and parsley. The bbq dishes are very substantial and bear in mind it comes with lots of fresh hot Turkish bread. They do two dishes for 22 pounds in the evenings which was a bargain. Also for sober people I appreciates their non alcoholic options, I had a couple of gin and tonics. Finally the service from all the team was charming - highly recommended.

Petek Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a cozy, intimate atmosphere with beautiful mosaic lamps casting a warm, colorful glow across the room. The décor feels both elegant and comforting, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food and drinks are just as impressive. The coffee was expertly made with gorgeous latte art and a rich, smooth flavor. It was served with delightful little touches — sugar cubes, olives, and a fresh, vibrant dip — which made the experience feel thoughtful and special. Every detail, from presentation to taste, showed care and quality. The ambiance is calm and inviting, ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone. Petek Restaurant truly offers more than just a meal — it’s an experience. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to visit again!
