The Brownswood

Made to feel so welcome as soon as we arrived and shown to our room. Every member of staff we met were so friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful and a lovely relaxing environment. Loved the outdoor area an added bonus and especially nice to sit there enjoying the good weather and good beer too.

Really lovely stay at this hotel. Beautiful rooms and great service. They would benefit from some air con or stronger fans as the rooms are extremely hot in the summer. Was able to watch Netflix on the telly and we had tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom was lovely and rooms were spacious. A good selection of breakfast and there is a pub downstairs for drinks and dinner. Reasonably priced, I would stay here again.

Me, my husband and members of our family all stayed here for our wedding, and we absolutely cannot fault it at all. The team were all so lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful. All the rooms were lovely with more than enough space, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the pub itself is also really lovely too. The location is great, close to parks and with brilliant transport links too. Really couldn't recommend The Brownswood more.

Great service, staff super attentive and allowed us in before opening to drop bags and use facilities. Provided coffee and pastries whilst we got organised. Lovely continental breakfast. Great location for gigs at Finsbury Park, 10 minute walk as well as easy to get into central London on tube. Near to wetlands, climbing centre, nice little cafes. Room 6 looked over the outside terrace which naturally had quite a bit of noise as it’s a busy pub, however it stopped immediately when the pub closed so caused us no issues at all. Fan provided which was powerful but room was so hot, bathroom was unbearably hot. The only slight downside tbh, AC would be beneficial but we made it work. Thanks for a lovely stay!
