What diners say
Really fantastic tapas. Seafood is the specialty. Recommend the scallops and the seafood rice (a mini paella). Approach is classic Spanish--not over-spiced or heavily sauced, just excellent ingredients cooked simply and beautifully. The bustling space and quirky decor feels more like Barcelona or Seville than it does like North London. Friendly staff and great vibes all around!

Finally ticked this off my foodie bucket list and it was 100% worth the hype. We ordered the scallops fr starter, the squid xl and seafood rice was like YASS. The seafood was incredibly fresh, every dish was packed with flavour, and the vibes were just immaculate. Definitely one of those places I'd happily come back to again and again. If you're a seafood lover, this one's a must-try!

Was super excited to eat here but wasn’t as blown away as I’d hoped! Some delicious dishes - the padron peppers with blue cheese is inspired, can’t go wrong with anchovies, and the chips bravas were lovely. Unfortunately didn’t enjoy the texture or flavour balance of the squid and thought the cod cheeks were very overseasoned. Some good stuff, would probably go back but quite pricey for a meal that didn’t wow me.

Visited a couple of times now and the food has consistently been standout. The atmosphere can be a turn-off for some as it can get cramped and noisy, so it really depends on what vibe you're going for. I'd say it leans more towards a loud, non-intimate environment than a really cosy one. This carries over into the service too. I'm not sure if the laid-back, slow-to-respond energy is intentional, like they're going for a cool, unbothered vibe but either way, it can be hard to get the staff's attention, which can get frustrating. If good hospitality matters to you, this might bother you. None of that takes away from the food itself, which is stellar. Portions are definitely on the small side for the price, but I guess that's the nature of tapas-style dining.
