The Balloon Tree Farmshop & Cafe

This is the perfect place for a pit stop fill up and a relaxed rest. The food is very well portioned, the cafe is spaciously laid out and the aesthetic is very farm house themed with plenty of decor and a variety of different options to eat. As always, I was over the moon happy to have oat milk as an option for my latte and syrup options which always adds to the experience of eating out when you have specific tastes. The Italian sandwich was both full of flavour as well as plentiful in ingredients which kept me going through the evening. I swapped the crisps for a rather small portion of chips which was an added charge naturally but the size of the sandwich was more than enough and the chips were rather moreish! The farm shop as expected is a little on the pricy side but considering the country surroundings and wide range of products, it’s a great place to shop and find some fresh products as well as tasty treats! I believe that there’s something for everyone here, particularly a good variety for vegetarians and vegans. I definitely recommend The Balloon Tree if you’re in the area and desire a little bit of a comfort aesthetic to your journey.

delightful farm shop that we stumbled across today! somewhat difficult to find parking initially. we loved the milk vending machine nearby the entrance. great range of produce and meats. a large section for gluten free products which i’m not used to seeing, especially at a farm shop. some brill alcoholic beverages for sale too. really kind staff member named arthur served us at the till as we got our baked goods here. we bought a lovely tote bag that we intend to reuse for other shopping x

Had a fantastic visit to Balloon Tree Farm..🍓 The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and delicious and picking them was a fun experience for me..The farm is well organised, the staff were friendly and the beautiful surroundings made it even more enjoyable..I'll definitely be back for another visit!

The restaurant is very well presented and the food is good quality and cooked to perfection. We had a couple of breakfasts which were a fairly reasonable price, and we left feeling satisfied. The staff were very polite and helpful. The superb aircon inside is an added bonus when the outside temperature is over 30°. The farmhouse sells some good quality items and everything looks very fresh however, it is a little pricey tbh.
