Nearny Way House
Folkestone and Hythe
Sandgate Beach lies a short walk from Nearny Way House, making this a straightforward base for coastal exploration. The shingle shore suits morning walks and sunset watching; the high street behind it has independent shops, pubs and cafés with a village feel. A scenic promenade connects through to Folkestone's Harbour Arm, where food stalls, live music and sea-view bars occupy the waterfront. Inland, the Creative Quarter holds galleries, studios and boutiques. Walkers can access stretches of the North Downs Way and cliff paths from the area.
The house itself spreads across two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to six. Ground floor has an open-plan living and dining space, a kitchen equipped for self-catering, and a separate toilet. Upstairs are two zip-and-link doubles (convertible to singles on request), a further double bedroom, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included; the kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. An enclosed garden with seating and furniture opens off the back, and private parking for two cars sits on site.
No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Arrival is after 3pm, departure before 10am.
