Oasis

Hythe sits on Kent's coast with the pebble beach on the doorstep, the historic pier a short walk away, and the miniature steam railway running through to Dungeness. Oasis occupies a converted townhouse here, spread vertically over four storeys so that the main living spaces rise towards the upper floors where views open out across the water and beaches.

The ground floor holds the utility room. First floor brings the open-plan living and dining area with a kitchen capable of handling family meals—electric oven, hob, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. Glazed doors lead to a balcony. Bedrooms occupy the second and third floors: three kingsize beds (5ft) and one double (4ft 6in), with two shower rooms between them. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One dog or cat can stay free of charge. Private parking fits two cars, and there is a small enclosed garden with seating.

This suits groups or families wanting to be close to the beach and town without paying for individual rooms elsewhere. The Royal Military Canal offers cycling and walking routes through the marshes, while Romney Marsh and Dungeness lie within reach for those after something wilder. No smoking inside.
