The Granary began life as a grain store and retains the character of its agricultural past. Now converted for holiday lets, it sits on private land near Hythe in rural east Kent, surrounded by open countryside yet close enough to Folkestone and Canterbury for day trips. The building is laid out across two floors: downstairs combines living, dining and kitchen space around a wood burner, with a shower room alongside; upstairs holds a single bedroom with a king bed.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric hob, combi microwave-oven-grill and fridge. The living area has a smart TV and the wood burner for winter evenings. Essentials such as heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, as is fuel for the burner. Outside, a front garden has a seating area and BBQ, and there is parking for one car on site. The owners' grounds are open to explore—good for walks, and the property sits on National Cycle Route 17 if you bring bikes. No smoking indoors.
