This really is a lovely little hotel at this price point. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the sea view simply stunning. The chocolates and toiletries a lovely, rarely seen touch these days. The location is excellent. For a budget hotel it exceeded our expectations!

Our recent stay at the Westward Ho completely reminded us why we are proud regulars here and at its sister property, the Portland Hotel. As always, the experience was wonderful, starting from the moment we arrived early to beat the traffic and were quickly accommodated into our room without any delay.The Westward Ho is a gorgeous Victorian house, and the owners have done a fantastic job maintaining the stunning period fixtures. The bedrooms offer a decent size with comfortable, quality furnishings.From a practical standpoint, the hotel is incredibly welcoming to pets, and having on-site private parking available is extremely handy and stress-free. Considering the current economic climate, the rooms are also priced very well. The only minor thing we missed this time around was the communal microwave oven, but it certainly didn't take away from another fantastic stay! help and service only a phone call away

Lovely set hotel with sea side view. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was spacious even with a family of 5. Towels and toiletries provided which was nice unfortunately we didn't get to use them due to no hot water for a bath or shower. Room was clean and nicely decorated.bathroom is small and basic but what else do you need.

Firstly location is fab , ideal for the le shuttle. However we did not get a good sleep. The beds anf pjllkws are in despedate need of renewing. The rooms large and clean . However the bathroom had limescale plaatered on the shower taps and the plug holes along with a dirtg shower curtain. We were metby a friendly young girl ,but ai did find it unprofessional to be talking to me and showing me the room whilst holding a vape. It was fit for purpose , however we will not visit agqin .
