Little Allaston Farm - The Lodge
Forest of Dean
The Forest of Dean surrounds this property—ancient woodland, open commons and valleys folded into Gloucestershire—making it the sort of place where a walk or bike ride can start from your door and barely touch civilization for hours. Little Allaston Farm sits within a working farm's grounds, so the setting is genuinely rural: you'll see livestock, and the owner can arrange a farm tour if you want it.
The Lodge has two bedrooms and sleeps six. Downstairs, a living room with Freeview TV and electric fire opens to a kitchen with a full cooker, dishwasher and all the usual kit for cooking proper meals. The ground-floor bedroom holds a double and two singles; there's a wet room with a shower and grab rail. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a king bed and its own ensuite. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. One dog is welcome and can roam the enclosed rear garden. Note that there are two steps down into the garden itself.
A gravelled drive provides parking for your car. This is a non-smoking property. Families find the setup straightforward for longer stays; walkers and cyclists will recognize the location as a proper base, not a waypoint.
