Oak Tree Cottage opens into a ground floor built for living and gathering. The living and dining room has a woodburner and television; the conservatory, warmed by its own fire, leads out through French doors to the garden. A games room with pool table and dartboard sits alongside. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch—electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all present—while upstairs, three bedrooms (two doubles and one with bunk beds) share two bathrooms across the first floor. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the heating and utilities are covered.
The garden is enclosed and comes with patio furniture and space for outdoor life. One dog stays free. Two cars can park on the property. This is a whole cottage to yourself, sleeping up to six, with a two-step entrance. The setting is rural Ross-on-Wye in the Forest of Dean, about a mile from the nearest shop and pub, with Tesco Cinderford eleven minutes away by car.
The forest offers immediate walking from the door, and activities nearby include cycling, canoeing, horse riding and climbing. Golf is available eight minutes away. The Wye Valley, Monmouth and Gloucester—with its cathedral and outlet shopping—are all within half an hour's drive. No smoking.
