West End Farm Lodge Alabaster
Forest of Dean
View on Google MapsWest End Farm Lodge Alabaster sits on a 14-acre working farm within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where rolling countryside stretches across the view. The entire property is on one level, with an open-plan living space that connects the kitchen, dining and seating areas—useful if you want to cook while keeping everyone together. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms; one bed can be split into twins if needed. A woodburner warms the lodge, and essentials like wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine cooler. Outside, there's decking and an enclosed lawn with seating and a barbecue. A utility room has a washing machine; a separate outdoor utility area is useful for cleaning bikes or dogs. One dog stays free. On-site parking takes two cars, and there's an electric charging point.
The Forest of Dean offers cycling on dedicated trails, riding, canoeing, fishing and climbing nearby. Puzzlewood, Go Ape and the steam railway are local attractions. The Malt Shovel Inn is within reach for an evening out. No smoking indoors.
