About Inch Hotel
Down a private road on the edge of Fort Augustus, with Loch Ness and the surrounding Highland hills as a backdrop, Inch Hotel makes the most of one of Scotland's best-known settings. The garden and outdoor seating area are the obvious spots to take in the loch, and the location puts walking, cycling, fishing and watersports all within easy reach, alongside golf nearby and a scattering of pubs and restaurants in the village.
Rooms are en-suite and include family options, with drinks available in room and room service on request. Breakfast features a traditional Scottish spread, and the restaurant and bar serve food built around locally sourced ingredients, with packed lunches available for days out on the water or the hills. Facilities extend to free WiFi, laundry and luggage storage, meeting rooms and a wedding venue for those planning something larger, and pets are welcome throughout.
It's a comfortable base for exploring Loch Ness and the wider Highlands, though some rooms would benefit from a refresh, a point worth bearing in mind when booking. Free on-site parking is provided.

What guests say
The service is top tier. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the servers are very helpful and friendly. The views of Loch Ness are gorgeous, and we had a lovely view from our room. There really aren't enough superlatives to describe how nice this place is and I highly recommend it. I wish we could have stayed for a week instead of just the one night.

This was a last minute booking and we're so glad we found it! After a week travelling round Scotland and the NE of England, we'd stayed in a number of hotels and found this one right at the end of our trip - this was lovely - ranked very highly!! It compares more than favourably with far more expensive hotels we had stayed in earlier that week. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Justin & Jay. The dinner was great, good sized portions as was the traditional Scottish porridge for breakfast. The bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable, with a decent amount of space and good bathroom facilities. If we hadn't been due to head home, we would have definitely booked for another night and if we are ever back that way, we'll book in again!

I can say one the best views I've had staying in a hotel. The view from our window really captures the highlands picture. Rooms were warm too, good for the cold highlands weather. And staff were really nice and accomodating especially Mukesh and Justin. They made sure our stay is comfortable. Definitely wanted to go back for a staycation. 🥰

I first stopped here 7/8 years ago and I've been itching to get back. Not really changed much if at all but that's a good thing. The service has been fabulous, friendly and caring but professional as well. Our room was a little dated/tired but the bed was really comfortable and cozy. Evening meal for my birthday was bang on. No long waits and food was top quality. The room rate for the area and the facilitys are about right. Only little gripe was that the wifi is restricted to 10mb/sec which just isn't good enough for streaming and watching shows. However over all a fabulous visit and will definitely be back.
