Nice place, in a good location. The room was clean and the beds comfy. The shower could have had higher pressure. It's not palatial, but if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep for the night it's good quality at a decent price.

The room was fairly spacious and clean, and the hot water in the bathroom was very effective at relieving fatigue. However, the wooden floor seemed old and poorly maintained, creaking when stepped on. The Wi-Fi was also less than ideal, with a weak signal. The breakfast, unfortunately, was quite disappointing. The honey at the coffee and tea station was very thin, like a liquid made from dyed white sugar. The coffee lacked aroma and was not hot enough, even though it was kept in a thermos. The worst part was the bacon—it was unnaturally pale, as if it had been microwaved, with a layer of white, flaky residue on top. The sausages were overly salty and burnt, clearly microwaved and then reheated. I’m pretty sure their most skilled chef in the kitchen is Mr. Microwave, lol. That said, considering the price and location, it might still be an acceptable choice—though I’m not sure how other hotels compare.

Full disclosure: I checked in, raised my concerns, and was offered a full refund, which I accepted and left. I'm writing this because it's disrespectful to give such experience to people who pay a decent amount of money. Some basic cleanliness and maintenance are minimal expectations. Briefly, I came after a long day of hiking, went into the shower to find out the water pressure is ridiculously weak (and I've been to some cheap hostels and guests houses, but this was the worst). After a disappointing shower, I found out the two towels provided were not clean, with hair from a previous guest (luckily I had my own towel). Next I noticed the bed sheets were also stained, suggesting they hadn’t been changed. At this point I reached out to the property, they offered a full refund without attempting to resolve the issues. Fortunately, I was able to find another place to stay (much better for almostthe same price).

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This place was fine and perfect affordable value for money. There is usually only one person there at check in but that's fine. Hotel room was simple and clean and had everything we needed. Everything was tidy and worked well. I would recommend this place!
