Beautiful walk down to the waterfall. Signposted from the Hayburn inn (which has ample car parking places) The is a lot of steps so not ideal for those who struggle with inclines or for prams.

We parked at the pub at the top of the trail, called The Hayburn Wyke (well worth a visit too) and walked down through the steep field and the steps and trail through the mixed deciduous woods to the small rocky beach and the waterfall. Though small it is a great waterfall, with a small pool under it. We also explored further up in the stream, and took the coast path in both directions. The walk is a bit of a work out, and the field and trail are slippery when wet. It wasn't busy when we were there, and we met very few people on our walk in the area. I would recommend.

It is a beautiful peaceful place, But is very rocky terrain to get to for anyone with mobility issues. The views from the top are stunning and viewed a tanker in the horizon.

Magical place I tend to catch the first train to Scarborough, then cycle on the old cinder train track to this amazing spot, it only takes about 45 mins and is pretty flat on that section and very scenic too On arrival just walking through the woods down towards it is exciting as you slowly hear the sea in the distance and then the pebbled beach opens up with the waterfall of course. Generally there's no one else there so its like having your own beach. Off tomoz as having a temporary heatwave and taking a hammock so I can set it up in the trees Bliss
