What visitors say
First time visiting the campsite. We were given a lovely spot over looking the harbour. The site is over 2 areas one is the walled garden a short walk to beach, but doesn't have a view or open aspect, but has its own toilet block, with 2 toilets. The main area has the views and open aspect so you'll get a view of the sea. The site is well looked after and clean. When it's busy there isn't enough toilets as cleaning like most of these camp sites insist on cleaning them, when they get used most in the morning, as having to queue to use the loo isn't great first thing. They do try and swap the cleans between the toilet blocks but as you can imagine during peak times it's very frustrating. I know the early clean times is to suit staff over customer experience on all these sites, including CCC sites, dinner time is a far better time to clean and not inconvenience the paying customers. That my only annoyance with any of these sites is the toilet issue, people don't want to queue half a sleep. We will return and would definitely recommend the site, plenty of wild swimming to do, the sea water is lovely and clean and well worth a dip. The pub does top notch grub for very fair prices, but a word of warning about THE HIVE cafe, they operate a guess the price system, nothing on display, not even cake or ice ream prices, so you'll get royally......

Our second stay at Garliston, it never disappoints. Andy & Rachel take excellent care of the site ensuring it's super clean and easy on the eye with beautiful flowers planted around the site. Stunning views of the harbour and the sea, excellent for daily swimming. Great sized pitches which are clean and tidy. Already planning our return next summer

This site was ok ,not brilliant ,we had a small problem with management not communicating in the end we left and went to another site ,even though there were pitches available, the following day! location quite nice ,cafe down the road was ok ,quite expensive, but food was good, not sure if we would return here again due to the issues we had !!

Great campsite for motorhome and caravans, the staff are very approachable and helpful, on site there is showers, toilets, water and Elson points, they have hard standing and grass pitches with amazing sea views, it can get a bit cramped sometimes when busy but certainly worth a stay.
