What visitors say
Amazing walk around the lake....beautiful scenery and the walk is in greenery. You can see the ducks walking out of the water, sometimes. Great sights and very peaceful. Takes nearly 3 mins to go around the first lake , where the yacht school is based.

The park is big and very good for walks, dog walking, to enjoy fresh air. The car park is big but can get fill up quickly on weekends especially on warm days, durring summer school holidays even during the week days. The car park is free much thank you for the council. You can practice different water sports on the lake. Close to the car park is the cafeteria where you can enjoy food, cakes hot/cold drinks or ice cream. The foot path along the park and lakes are easily accessible for wheelchair users, strollers, push cars. Very dog friendly park. The walk around Stocker's lake is more closer to nature (not suitable for wheelchairs). A very nice add to the park is the canal that passes it. You can walk, bike, run along the footpath while enjoying nature, the quiet, seeing the long narrow boats moving along the canal and using the locks. You can spend easily few hours here. The train station is 20 minutes walk from the park.
