The Ayrshire Equitation Centre

A 5 star experience on the beach ride today. We enjoyed a diverse hack of walking and trotting through woodlands, roads, and residential areas to the beach before some cantering and galloping along the water front with our friendly guide Tamzin. The horses and ponies had a great time and so did we! The facilities on site are head and shoulders above many other schools I have been to including toilets and shop. Zero complaints and very good value for money - would highly recommend! 😊

I have been having riding lessons here for almost 3 years now. All of the staff are so helpful and welcoming and the on sight shop is well stocked and very reasonably priced. The horses are very well cared for and are very clearly loved by staff and visitors alike. Jennifer is an excellent instructor who is very knowledgeable. She strips back your riding to ensure you are a good, competent and safe rider. Safety is so important and she will not let you do what you are not ready to do safely (although looking at previous reviews some people don't appreciate that). Better safe than on your back after being thrown or losing your balance! She encourages you to push yourself and achieve amazing results and I have come on leaps and bounds in my riding. I have gone from having never ridden a horse to cantering through woods, jumping courses and becoming a dressage addict, all because of Ayr Equitation Centre and their staff. Cannot recommend enough.

On holiday in the area and booked a hack. Went for a cool ride through the woods. Haven't ridden for ages but Danny looked after me very well despite the flies! Tamzin asked about my experience and assessed my riding before we left the yard, all very reassuring.😊 All in all a lovely experience, even had a little canter! Thank you

Daughter really enjoyed own a pony day recently 😊 she's used Ayrshire equestrian several times in the past and has always enjoyed the tuition. I dropped her off 10.40 for 11am start then went grabbed food which ate at nearby beach relaxing whilst she the day learning basic stable management alongside receiving her first jump lesson which really made her day. She can't wait to go back during the October holidays 🐎🐎
