About Boutique 50
Glasgow's city centre puts restaurants, bars and the Scottish Event Campus within easy reach, and Boutique 50 sits among them on Bentinck Street, a small hotel with just ten rooms. It's a good base for anyone visiting the Exhibition Centre or wanting to explore the surrounding streets on foot.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds and a quirky touch in the form of in-room turntables, along with drinks available in the room. Family rooms are available, and free WiFi runs throughout. Some rooms can run warm, so it's worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper. There's a bar on site and breakfast is served each morning, with a decent selection to choose from.
The staff have a reputation for friendliness, and the location makes it easy to head out to nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment, with cycling routes and a golf course also within reach. There's no parking at the property, so those without a car will find it most convenient.
What guests say
Totally agree with previous review about this basement room. The window only opens very wide (no possibility of locking it slightly open) - couldn’t leave it open as it opened directly onto a garden area therefore room was stuffy. Room was tired - stains on the ceiling of the bathroom, fixtures loose and soft low bed. Staff were helpful and location was great, but felt it was expensive for the quality of hotel. In my opinion it is more a 3 star hotel charging 4 star prices.

One of my all-time favourite hotels, anywhere. Truly. Every visit feels just as special. So good to be back at Boutique 50. Third time already. I keep returning for the consistently warm and attentive service, the beautifully detailed and spotless rooms, the lovely breakfast experience, and the excellent location. Thanks a million to the wonderful team at Boutique 50. You always put a smile on my face and in my heart. Pus.

If you are looking for a home from home with excellent rooms, comfy mattress, amazing service and superb location- look no further! Amazing eateries close by and the delightful Kelvingrove Park adjacent. Breakfast tasty with a good selection to choose from. Easy links to the centre of town. Stayed here many times and always faultless!

As some other guests were I’m a bit confused by the low reviews. And to the guest complaining about no hot food at breakfast, this is clearly stated in the hotel website. I thought this was a very reasonably priced, safe hotel. I was travelling alone with my young daughter and we felt incredibly well looked after. The bed was very comfy, a special shout out to manager John, who gave my daughter some sweets as we left, thoughtful but on top of the he helped us to the bus stop with all our luggage. I’ve never experienced such care and service elsewhere.
