About Glasgow Marriott Hotel
Glasgow Marriott Hotel is a substantial 13-storey block on Argyle Street, built for scale with 302 rooms and the facilities of a full business and leisure hotel rolled into one address. Its size means plenty of choice, from family rooms to accessible options, and the height gives many rooms a good outlook over the city.
Rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and while many are kept to a good standard, a few guests have noted that maintenance can be patchy in places. Downstairs there's an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room, plus a spa for those wanting to unwind, along with a restaurant, bar and room service. Breakfast is a particular strength, with a wide spread on offer each morning. Meeting rooms and business services are also on hand for those visiting on work, and chargeable on-site parking with an electric vehicle charge point makes arriving by car straightforward.
The location suits visitors heading to the SEC and OVO Hydro as well as those wanting central Glasgow on their doorstep, with restaurants, pubs and entertainment all within easy reach. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a large, corporate-feeling hotel.
What guests say
Stayed at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel last week while in the city for a work event and really enjoyed my stay. The location was really handy for getting around, and the room itself was modern, spacious, and well presented — the bath was a nice bonus and made it easy to properly unwind after a busy day and getting ready for an evening out. What stood out most for me was the team. The reception staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the Brew Bar team were just as friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The refurbished bar has a great atmosphere and was a really nice spot to grab a drink and wind down. Overall, a comfortable, easy stay with great service — I’d happily stay again.

We had a couple of rooms with our daughter and son in law. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and just off the highway from the airport. We were able to walk to restaurants and areas of interest. The rooms, while being a bit dated, are well appointed, especially the decent nice sized bathroom. Water pressure is good enough and the air conditioning works in the warmer weather. We were fortunate enough to have access to the executive lounge for pre-dinner drinks. It is small so come earlier. We enjoyed our stay and we will return here in a few days.

Spent the Month of May here room was very warm and when trying to cool AC it was very noisy. That's only negative comments I have. Every member of staff was helpful went above and beyond , my room was serviced everyday and bedding and towels changed regularly thank you. Brakefast was plentiful buffet style some days very busy but always managed. I was given access to the executive lounge on the 12 th floor soft drinks and tea, coffee and in the evening were given hot and cold snacks bottled beers and vine what's not to like

Booked this hotel and location originally for my partner's graduation ball but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to book for a future date which was last night. On arrival the front of staff were very welcoming and polite. The room itself was extremely modern and very clean. We did request replacement towels but that was no big deal. The mattress was not really to our liking as it was very firm but that's more a personal preference. Tea and coffee was supplied and a beautiful scent of hand wash, shower gell etc was readly available. I would most definitely book here again in the future.
