Sunset at Coral Beach. It was worth to drive from Portree 45min,walk for another 40min and be back at night.

I visited a lot of beaches but I think this was the most beautiful beach. It was a long walk down to the Coral Beach in Claigan, just north of Dunvegan. The beach is made from crushed white coral like seaweed that makes the water look tropical blue when the sun comes out. I must say if you want to visit a truly magical place and looking for perfect family picnic place then this is the one. The carpark is located at the end of the single track road. You have to walk a little long to reach but the walk was worth it. The water was crystal blue and the ‘crushed shells is lovely to look at and walk on. I highly recommend it.

Small walk from the coral beach! Nice and relaxing place when the sun is out, can get a bit windy though.
