This was a welcome break after a challenging few days in the hills. It’s perfect for families looking for something to do on a rainy day, and it’s very fairly priced too. A special mention has to go to the staff behind the bar and bowling area, who were absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch any names, but we visited on Friday 29th May. Their friendly attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. We’d actually received some poor service at a much more established venue a couple of days earlier, and those staff could certainly take a leaf out of these guys’ book. Overall, it’s a fairly basic venue, but that’s not a criticism. It provided a great escape from the weather, the kids loved it, the beer was cheap for the adults, and the whole experience was topped off with genuine smiles and fantastic service. We’d happily visit again.

Went up today normally come to the soft play with our carers group and have no issue however today the blonde with the hair stuffed on her head decided to come over and tell us we weren’t allowed outside food for nut allergies. For one there is no sign two my child doesn’t eat anything with nuts and we don’t carry food that has any issue and three never been told this in previous times. Then we see a lady and her kid next to us with a packed lunch full of food clearly with nuts in but she never said anything. Such a shame as we never have issue other times the blonde was constantly chastising the kids for the smallest of things she was rude and lots of others complained about her behaviour every single person had an issue with her lots of people left early

Hijinks soft play is great. Shame about ALL the toilets bring disgusting. The doesn't appear to be any cleaning routine which is not good especially given the area is for kids. Must do better!

Avoid the soft play, baby/toddlers area toys were mouldy and area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Staff friendly.
