What visitors say
this rink is TERRIBLE!!! Not only is it so small it’s impossible to even move around without clashing into someone, the ceiling is falling apart! Is this not dangerous? It’s not well lit at all with very little lights and for the size of the rink i find it hard to believe they let this many people in. The smell of damp is unavoidable and overall makes the experience unpleasant. If you want a proper ice rink to go to, Basingstoke is an excellent rink.

The staff have always been friendly and welcoming, which is why I keep coming back. There’s a good community around the rink and it’s great to have a local place to skate regularly. That said, the facilities really need some attention. The ice quality is often poor and can make sessions frustrating. Parts of the rink also feel quite worn down and outdated. It would be great to see some investment into maintaining the ice and improving the facilities overall, because the people and atmosphere deserve a much better standard.

Went this Sunday with a friend. We got there late and we knew we only had about 45 min left. As soon as we entered a very strong smell of damp greeted us. There are barely and benches to change into skates unless you use the so called few seats for viewing which are very dirty. The toilets have also seen better days. I think i'd be generous if i said they might get cleaned once a week. There is damp everywhere, the sides of the sinks are a hosting a whole ecosystem of living things Got on the ice eventually. Yes the rink is small and the ice wasn't great but understandable so late into the seassion and with that many people. However if you go there, don't look up and do not look at the walls. The ceiling hangs for dear life and in places the lining of the ceiling is falling off, the walls have started to grow algae from all the damp and humidity, do not touch them. The whole place is a health hazard, there is no proper ventilation for all the condensation that occurs in an ice rink. I am concerned for the health of the people working there The management should take things more seriously and focus on the state of the rink but i guess they don't care since people will go there as there's no alternative All in all I wouldn't return and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who cares for their health
