About Premier Inn Gosport
Fareham Road runs down towards the Gosport waterfront, with the Portsmouth ferry crossing and the Alver Valley trails both within easy reach, and Premier Inn Gosport makes a practical base for exploring this stretch of Hampshire coast. The area also offers watersports, fishing, golf and horse riding nearby, along with pubs and other entertainment for evenings out.
The hotel has 97 rooms across four floors, all en-suite with air conditioning, and accessible rooms are available. Guests consistently find the rooms spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. A lift serves all floors, and reception is staffed around the clock. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast that's generous and cooked to order, with children's options included, and drinks can be brought to the room.
Free on-site parking is provided, which guests find convenient, and the staff are noted for being friendly and attentive throughout a stay. The building's exterior has been described as looking a little tired in places, though this doesn't appear to affect what's on offer inside. Rooms run from £39 to £150 depending on dates.
What guests say
Was only staying for the weekend whilst attending an event nearby. Location was perfect for that and it was handy having a pub, Starbucks and McDonalds on the doorstep too. Opted for a cooked breakfast on Saturday morning and it was standard fare but tasty nonetheless. Room was clean and bed was decent. Bathroom was OK, however, shower screen didn't seem very clean and toilet seat had what looked like chemical burns/stains on it. Overall, it did the job and I would consider staying again.

Great hotel with comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff. We hadn't pre booked breakfast but saw how good it looked so paid to have it in the morning. The breakfast was fantastic. All the hot food was cooked to order. The poached eggs were especially good. Only thing that would have been handy was if there was a fan in the room. Rooms were very clean. Free WiFi available and free view TV. Overall it was a great place to stay. Would recommend.

We had family come and visit and they stayed here. They were happy with the rooms. I personally didn't stay or see the rooms. We joined them for breakfast the following morning. We pre booked as were a group of 12. The staff were amazing and so welcoming. They even remembered the family were celebrating a significant birthday and asked how the party went. The breakfast was delicious and constantly being topped up with freshly cooked items. My mum even received a birthday gift which was above and beyond and such a wonderful gesture.

Unpleasant exterior which needs cleaning or painting. Rooms spacious with good TV and air conditioning which worked well but was impossible to control. Biggest issue was the 'shower over bath' which we found difficult to step into and out of, and dangerously slippery in use. The shower unit itself is fine but it needs to be either a walk-in enclosure or bath designed with a proper flat shower end.
