About Premier Inn Grantham
For drivers wanting a reliable overnight break rather than a destination in itself, Premier Inn Grantham makes an easy choice, sitting right by the A1/607 junction with free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point. It's the kind of place suited to travellers passing through Lincolnshire, whether on a long motorway journey or visiting the town for a night or two.
The hotel has 97 rooms across three floors, all en-suite, with accessible rooms and a lift available. Beds are comfortable and rooms are kept clean, though some guests have noted the absence of air conditioning. A restaurant on site serves breakfast, including a well-regarded buffet spread, and drinks can be ordered to the room. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and reception operates around the clock for late arrivals or early starts.
Beyond the junction, there's plenty to fill a stopover: golf, fishing and horse riding are all nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and local entertainment. The hotel also puts guests within reach of Grantham town centre, Belton House and Grantham Museum, making it workable as a base for exploring rather than just a place to sleep before the next leg of a journey.
What guests say
My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn, Grantham, for just 2 nights very recently. We knew that, whilst still competitively priced, the charge for our room might have been significantly higher had we booked one or two days prior to our stay. However, we booked very early, and reaped the reward with a very low room rate, costing less than £100 for the 2 night stay. Our room was perfect. Clean, tidy, and nothing out of place or missing. Premier Inn heavily advertise their comfortable mattresses, and so too they are. We had a superbly comfortable two nights' sleep. If there was one thing that could have been improved, it was the towel rail in the bathroom. It would have been great if it could have been heated. The ladies at reception were very helpful and courteous throughout, and are an asset to the Brand. Thank you Premuer Inn, our stay was delightful, and we will returning again. Michael and Barbara

I stayed twice . First stay was okay , liked location room was good . Second stay was disaster. When I decided to use shower, there was smell of pee , toothpaste stains, hair on a bath side . When I looked in a bed there clearly somebody slept before, phone usb charger was damaged and didn’t work . I asked to change the room. Next room was full of surprises too, I found dirty bathroom , looks like wasn’t cleaned after previous clients at all . There were pubic hair and geese in a bath . Lady in reception promised she will make sure the room will be clean during my next stay 😂. Will I stay??? And guys if you want to stay there pack your own cleaning products

Staying here for several months for work. Great place with lovely staff. Great beds and sleep like a baby. Only negative is it’s loud as it right next to the A1. Food is lovely in the brewers fayre next door. Just book for a meal at reception as it can get busy.

I stayed at this Premier Inn for three nights during the week, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Firstly, checkout time is 12pm, yet housekeeping began knocking on my door at 10:30am. Despite still being in the room and having the “Do Not Disturb / I’m Sleeping” sign displayed, they continued knocking. To make matters worse, while I was in the shower, I heard someone enter the room and then shut the door. This felt like a complete invasion of privacy. If a guest has not checked out, staff should not be attempting to enter the room. I would also strongly advise not leaving anything behind, as I appear to have had my charger taken and have not been able to retrieve it. For anyone who works night shifts, this hotel is not ideal. The cleaners regularly bash their trolleys against the walls in the morning, making it very difficult to sleep during the day. There seems to be a lack of consideration for guests. Finally, the signal is extremely poor, and while free WiFi is advertised, it is barely usable unless you pay extra for the upgraded version. Overall, I believe this particular Premier Inn needs better staff training and improved customer consideration.
