About Stoke Rochford Hall
Grantham's countryside setting in Lincolnshire provides the backdrop for Stoke Rochford Hall, a Victorian manor house turned hotel with 91 rooms spread through its historic walls. The building's period character remains part of the appeal, with gardens surrounding the property and free on-site parking for those arriving by car.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and guests can expect the usual comforts of free WiFi and room service alongside drinks available to order. The hotel serves breakfast and meals in its restaurant, with a bar and snack bar for something lighter, and packed lunches can be arranged for days out. An indoor swimming pool is on site, along with a lift for easier access around the building. Those planning weddings or meetings will find dedicated facilities, including a bridal suite and meeting rooms, and business travellers are catered for too.
Golf and fishing are both available nearby, making it a reasonable base for a few days spent outdoors as well as indoors by the pool. Pets are welcome, and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures. It's a solid, characterful choice for the area, though the mix of function space and guest rooms means it can feel busier than a purely quiet country retreat.

Beautiful building with interesting history. Staff very accommodating and helpful. Food tremendous. I don't know where others are getting their reviews from but we had no complaints. Returned yesterday 3 night stay in the Melton Room. Whilst we were there there was a wedding on the Saturday, the Orangery was beautifully bedecked. Sophie, the bride, seemed delighted with the service. I'd return, most certainly.

Held my daughters wedding there yesterday. There is no doubt it is a lovely venue. The grounds are beautiful and the food was lovely and the staff were amazing. The only thing that let's it down are the bedrooms. Some of them need a complete refurb and windows that open. A lick of paint around the downstairs area wouldn t go amiss. All in all the wedding rooms were lovely and id like to thank the staff who went above and beyond to make it a perfect day.

We arrived late & left early in the morning as we used this hotel for a stop off on our way up north. On first impressions as you arrive down the drive way the hotel is visually stunning & gives the impression you’re staying in a national trust stately home. We paid a very reasonable rate for our room & for our needs, what we received was absolutely fine. Inside, aesthetically the hotel more resembles a council office block & doesn’t quite match the outside. My only complaint would be that the mattress was quite poor. I would stay again for the purpose of our visit.

We had a good time overall. Stunning looking building and gardens with livestock roaming the grounds. The place could do with some TLC. The room we stayed in was small and the bathroom was basic with no shower curtain. Wallpaper hung upside down, pictures on the wall falling out of the frame, mouldy teabag in the bin, cracked window pain I could go on. We had a lovely view of the red biffa bins. The food in the restaurant was decent and there was also a separate menu in the bar area for people who fancy a burger and chips. The staff were all friendly and helpful and always someone at reception and the bar area. Be prepared for all the potholes leading up to the main building. The windows all around the property look like they haven't been cleaned in a year. I reckon the place could do with hiring more staff to help with the housekeeping and general maintenance of the property. The place is dog friendly, but they must be kept on a leash due to the sheep roaming the grounds. Plenty of carparking and only 15 minutes from Grantham.
