New location is beautiful. So much bigger and better. All the volunteers are great, very knowledgeable of the birds and letting you handle them, letting you know which can be stroked and which can’t. Fantastic little cafe with a range of different sandwiches, toasties, paninis, jacket potatoes, and more. You do not need to get tickets in advance, you can pay in on the day - cash or card. There are two talks, one at half 11, and one at half 1. Both last a fair amount of time to allow quite a few different birds to fly for food while giving facts and often telling jokes too.

I had a great time and found it very engaging to see all the impressive different species they have there. The centre has just moved locations apparently and had only been open 3 days when I went. Despite this, everything was running well and the staff were very accommodating. Making sure I was able to get around in my electric wheelchair. Honestly well worth a visit. I got to see and interact with plenty of birds of prey, it was a lot of fun.

Fabulous centre with a wide range of beautifully looked after birds. Great flying displays and lots of opportunities to take photos. Was rather hot the day I went so it was a little exhausting for the birds but the volunteers kept a close eye on their health and only allowed them to fly when safe to do so. The new location has only been reopened recently so much more still to come, including a hide for photographers. The staff and volunteers were very welcoming and have a lot of knowledge about the birds which they will willingly share with you. I learned so much about the owls! There’s a nice little cafe to get drinks and sandwiches too. I will most definitely be back.

Visited here today & what a lovely family friendly place it is. The birds are beautiful & very well cared for. There’s plenty of secure areas for the little ones to run around if they need to let off some energy & the owners & staff are super friendly & knowledgeable!! The cafe is beautiful offering a good selection of quality refreshments. We will most definitely be back soon 😃
