Heron Lodge

Heron Lodge is a detached property in Hopton-on-Sea, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. Ground-floor living means you walk straight into an open-plan space: a sitting area with Freeview TV opens via patio doors onto a veranda, with the dining and kitchen areas flowing from there. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. One bedroom holds a double bed with its own ensuite shower room; the other has two single beds, served by a separate bathroom with a bath.

Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Gas central heating keeps things warm. There's a shared garden and a veranda with furniture for sitting outside. Parking for one car is on site. The village centre—shops, restaurants and pubs—is 400 yards away. Five minutes on foot takes you to the beach. Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth lie 5 miles inland; Norwich and the Norfolk Broads are within reach for day trips, as is Pleasurewood Hills theme park. No smoking throughout the property.
