Maluth Lodge is a traditional guesthouse on North Denes Road, a short stretch back from the Great Yarmouth seafront, with the straightforward, well-kept feel of a proper English B&B rather than a large hotel. It's run as adults-only accommodation, which keeps things quiet and settled for those wanting a simple, no-fuss base in Norfolk.
Rooms are modest but comfortable, each with an en-suite bathroom, free WiFi and drinks available to enjoy in your room. A complimentary full English breakfast is included each morning, and there's a bar on site along with 24-hour reception, so arrivals and evening drinks are never a problem. Both Helen and Jeff are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. From the moment I booked, to when I left contact was warm and friendly. I arrived after a long travel day I was welcomed into their home with open arms - like I've known them for YEARS. not only are they friendly, Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Their home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and inviting, creating a genuine "home away from home" atmosphere. The room was spotless, well-maintained making it easy to relax after a long day. The bed was comfortable, and everything was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a pleasant stay. It's clear that Helen and Jeff take great pride in their home and in providing an outstanding experience for their guests. I would highly recommend staying here, this is my second visit in 2 years - I would choose to stay here over the large corporate hotels nearby every time. The location is ideal too! close to the beach & sand dunes

Fantastic stay at Maluth Lodge. Owners could not do enough for you, they kindly moved our rooms when they discovered I walked with a stick, and we booked the top floor! Always friendly and chatty, welcomed you to breakfast in the morning. Excellent local knowledge which was very helpful. Room was meticulously clean and very cosy. The Lodge is situated in a residential street which is extremely quiet. Excellent, very tasty breakfast! Set us up for the day. There is a Morrisons store a stones throw away, a short walk to the Venitian water gardens (highly recommended) 20 min walk or 5in drive to the Britannia Pier, there is a second pier and more things to do further on. So happy with our stay, we reccomend Maluth Lodge very highly

Such a wonderful place to stay, Helen and Jeff made us feel so welcome, they are so friendly and helpful and had lots of info about the area. The location is amazing, only a short walk to a quiet beach and little bit of a longer walk to the main beach. The lodge and room was so clean and comfortable, you will not be disappointed with the shower (plenty of pressure and heats up in seconds) The included breakfast was fantastic. I can only say that if you are undecided on whether you should book your stay here, just book it! You will not be disappointed.

As a solo first time traveller I was quite anxious..but was made very welcome. Felt very secure and safe. Room absolutely spotless, as was entire building. Bed was amazing..so so comfortable. Helen and Jeff are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend. Ps also had the pleasure of meeting the dog and rug rats 🤣🤣
