Porthmadog's beaches and narrow-gauge railway sit within easy reach, while Criccieth's castle and seafront are equally close. The Wern Estate itself occupies countryside between these two towns, with fishing available on the private lake for those interested. Walking trails cross the surrounding hills, and the location puts you within a couple of hours of Snowdonia's peaks if you want to venture further.
Garth Yr Hebog is a converted cottage on the estate, all on one level with a king-size bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The living space combines a lounge with an original fireplace and a kitchen equipped for cooking; there's also a sauna to use. A utility room holds a washing machine and additional fridge space. The essentials—heating, linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are covered. One dog is welcome. You'll have your own parking, and the front garden includes a sitting area with barbecue. The property suits two people, and travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

What guests say
Beautiful cottage in a secluded location. Absolutely gorgeous, well equipped and maintained. For total peace and tranquility there is no where better, set in a wooded area, private gardens but within easy reach of Criccieth and surrounding areas.
