Tan y Bryn is a mid-terraced cottage in Gwynedd with views across the mountains. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with a wood-burner, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. A utility room with a washer-dryer and a shower room complete the lower level. Upstairs, two double bedrooms provide sleeping space for four. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; heating and hot water are covered too. Parking is on the road outside.
The location puts you within reach of real things to do. Porthmadog, three miles away, has restaurants, pubs, a marina and sandy beaches suitable for water sports. Snowdonia National Park surrounds you—Mount Snowdon, slate caverns, castles and the Bodnant Gardens are all nearby. The Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway (Pont Croesor station is half a mile away) run heritage steam trains through the area. Blaenau Ffestiniog, a short drive off, hosts Europe's longest zip wire, underground trampoline nets and downhill bike trails. Walkers, climbers, cyclists and bird watchers find plenty to occupy them, and the only nesting osprey pair in Wales live close by. A pub and shops are about one and a half miles away. The cottage does not permit smoking.
