About Aberdunant Hall

Snowdonia's hills and coastline are close at hand from Prenteg, with walking and cycling routes nearby and a golf course within easy reach, making Aberdunant Hall a practical base for exploring North Wales. Porthmadog itself is a short distance away, along with a choice of pubs and restaurants for evenings out beyond the hotel.

The hotel has nine rooms spread across two floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free on-site parking is provided, along with an electric vehicle charge point, and a 24 hour reception means arrivals are never a problem. Outside, there's a garden, picnic area and outdoor seating for making the most of the surroundings.

Meals are taken in the on-site restaurant, with breakfast included and kids' meals available, and portions are generous rather than mean. A bar on the property gives a spot to unwind after a day out, and staff are on hand throughout to help with whatever guests need, from local advice to laundry service.

We stayed in a lodge for 2 nights on the park, after a long journey we booked here for dinner as local and convenient. Every staff member was friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious. We went for the 2 course set meal for £21 and was not disappointed. Highly recommend the salt & pepper squid and the burger.

We've just had a truly lovely stay at Aberdunant Hall. We had a lodge, signature spa which was in an elevated position with lovely views.The facilities was excellent.The lounge was comfortable & very clean. Kitchen was fully fitted with added bonus of dish washer .Big bonus was the jacuzzi we have never used one before but it was warm , clean and we thoroughly enjoyed it so did our oldy bones and muscles.I will say the main bedroom was clean and tidy and comfortable but the mattress was very soft and springy may needed a new one. The place is a remote and quiet perfect for us .On the whole wonderful.

OMG one of the best places i have ever stayed!!! i am quite a snob when it comes to cleanliness but i honestly could not find one single cobweb (and i looked! lol) the grounds itself was laid out well. the mini walks in the facility were nice. the food was delicious and the Staff were beyond amazing!!! The deputy manager remembered our drinks order from the night before considering the amount of people they serve it amazed me. every waiter acted like nothing was too much hassle. all happy and smiling. Big shout out to Neil especially who gave us some great recommendations of places to visit. we visited them and were not disappointed and then he even asked us about them the next day! blown away!!! the location is great as its so close to most touristy places and off a main road so people nervous driving down lanes dont need to worry. i have already raved about this place to my family and we will be heading back as soon as we can!!!! thank you, Diolch yn fawr!!!!! wish we could of stayed longer!!!

I would highly recommend Aberdunant hall and park. The cabin we stayed in (The hideaway) was great for small family (2 adults and toddler) but perfect for a couple. The cabin was of high quality and everything was stocked - just bring your own toiletries and extra loo rolls and an extra towel. There are laundry facilities you can use onsite. The grounds are beautiful and you need a good day just to explore them and take pictures. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and accommodated us with late check out and guided us as we were first time cabin users. My experience was so nice alongside the people of the area being so nice I’m considering leaving London and moving to Snowdonia. The location of the grounds is great for access to the whole of the snowdonia region - it is near portmerion and the excellent beaches near by, snowdonia national park, Anglesey and north wales coast line is only 90 minute drive through the mountains and 60 minutes via the coastal express way. The grounds are near the mountain railway and also there is a Tesco that is nearby (10 minute drive) that is open till 11pm on most days with petrol station. I will be returning it was an excellent stay and I would consider upgrading cabins next time for more space and hot tub and I would look into a permanent one for my family.
